Small Hole EDM

With EDM technology Abet Industries can machine holes that would normally be too small for conventional drilling. Holes as small as .012” diameter can be achieved in this drilling operation. Hole popping is much faster and cheaper, but less accurate than EDM Drilling. Hole popping uses a brass tube to EDM through the part. This process leaves a burr free hole, and is the perfect solution for thin materials and very small holes.
